The Caterpillar and the Polliwog by Jack Kent

A proud caterpillar and a curious polliwog become unlikely friends in this classic board book by beloved author, illustrator, and cartoonist Jack Kent.

Down by the pond, a caterpillar who loves being different brags to her friends: "When I grow up, I'm going to turn into something else…" A polliwog nearby is just as eager to find out what he'll become — and what unfolds is a warm, funny, and gently surprising tale about growing up.

Told with Kent's signature bright, bold, expressive illustrations, this 34-page board book is a wonderful pick for little ones who can't wait to see what they'll become too.
